This is What Our Colleagues Had to Say!

Dear Wendy,

Thank you very much for your help today. I learned so much more than I even expected and feel much better able to fully understand the complex nature of {patient’s name removed to protect privacy} strengths and challenges.

Your overview was thorough, answered our questions about attention and learning issues, and gave us some very good strategies for understanding and compensating moving forward.

Thank you again for your expertise and your true concern and care for {patient}. I will be happy to refer to you again in the future.

All my best to you,
Leslie Rainaldi, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist

“Thank you a thousand times over for your support of the Parents Support Group and for coming to speak.  As always, you were both a delight and a font of knowledge.  Thank you.”  – Norrine Russell, Ph.D., Co- Founder Tampa Bay Parent Support Group

Here Is What Some Parents & Teachers Have to Say:

Dear Wendy and team,

The presentation and information you shared with our Middle Division staff was AMAZING! Thank you for all of your expertise. Many of the teachers said, “WOW – I could listen to each of them speak for days (rather than hours).” They took away information and tools for immediate use. Your collective knowledge base and tailoring of meeting our staff where we are at is greatly appreciated and was highly valuable. Thank you for your time and efforts. We look forward to continued collaboration.”

With gratitude, Sarah Behrens and Leanna Binick Berkeley Preparatory School

Dear Dr. Rice,

Thank you for being so patient with me during my treatment. You have made a positive impact on my life. I will never forget your teachings! Thank you, again, for everything.

Dear Wendy,

I wanted to thank you for the beautiful, thorough report you wrote. I appreciated the way you explained the dianostic results in “layman terms” making them easier & clearer for parents to understand. You’re always a wealth of knowledge and your practical, useful, realistic recommendations mean alot too. Thanks for all you do!

Best Wishes,

Gayle

You haven’t heard from our family in a while because things are going so well for our son. He has made a good transition to his new school, earned excellent grades the first semester and has made some good friends.

I want to thank you for the support you provided to our family during an extremely difficult time. You helped us to get to where we need to be. That’s not to say there won’t be more challenges ahead but and we are better equipped to confront them.

Thank you for all that you did for my husband, my son and me.

-From the mother of teen son

“My husband and I were just saying “that could not have gone better.” You get it and I think you get our son. Thank you for meeting with us today and reassuring us that this is manageable.”
-From the mother of a high school student

Good morning Dr. Rice,

You properly diagnosed our son which significantly helped him make great strides academically. In addition, it gave him the confidence necessary to be his best self advocate with teachers, peers and administration. Our son will be graduating high school this year with 3.5/4.7 GPA in a dual enrollment program. Further, he was accepted into a number of universities for biomedical engineering. He hopes his future career will help support other dyslexics either with medical advancements and/or providing funding in the area.

“Thank you so much for completing this report and getting it over last night. I had my meeting with the school this morning and it went well. There was no question that {my son} needs an IEP. Your report was very thorough, therefore not requiring any additional testing from the school psychologist. In fact, they complimented on how thorough your report was and how it will help. I will keep you posted on our progress. I appreciate all of your help and guidance.” – Mother of an 8 Year Old Boy

“Thanks for the informative (and entertaining) presentation on Wednesday, and for the thoughtful gift! I will keep your card and surely use you as a referral for my students!” – Guidance Counselor at Walker Middle Magnet School – Odessa, FL

“Thank you so much for your enlightening presentation on tantrums.  The information and strategies you provided helped me not only to find better ways to handle tantrums when they occur but more importantly to better recognize the situations and circumstances that may cause them.  Your presentation has helped me do a better job meeting my child where she is at, recognizing the situations that are going to set her off and heading the tantrum off at the pass.  Anybody can stand up and give a presentation on the do’s and don’ts of how to avoid a tantrum but you provided hands on practical experience with the heart of a teacher. Parenting a strong willed child can be exhausting and your presentation gave me just the boost I need!” -Mother of three…ages 9,6 and 5

happy child

Hello Dr. Rice,

This note is long overdue, but I wanted to reach out and thank you.

Just over two years ago, I came by your office to speak with you about my ADHD tendencies, and that visit changed my life. I was 39 at the time, and struggled with a variety of problems both personally and professionally for a good portion of my life. The inattentiveness, impulsiveness, and relationship problems plagued every aspect of my day. Distraction and inappropriate risk-taking were major factors in my many failed relationships, and almost cost me my career at least once.

The diagnosis you provided, and the subsequent medication from my doctor, literally saved my life. My career has rebounded, and my personal life is stable. I’m now living a full life (in another city), and almost finished with my Bachelor’s Degree. The ability to focus on my education and thoughtfully reflect on my life to make decisions with a clear mind has helped me become a better person. I am more present in my relationship, make fact-based decisions at work, and can relate to my friends and family in ways that I have never done before.

The hour you spent with me in your office was a pivotal moment in my life’s journey, and without your help, I don’t know where I might be today. All I know for certain is that I couldn’t be where I am today without your diagnosis, as it helped lift a heavy burden from my life.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Rice,

Thanks for the informative (and entertaining) presentation on Wednesday, and for the thoughtful gift! I will keep your card and surely use you as a referral for my students!

Thanks again.

I hope you are doing great. We think of you often.
thank you for everything you did for our family. you are a great person.

“You are the first person we’ve been to see about our son who actually makes sense. Now we know what to do.” – Grandmother of a 12 year old boy

“Thank you! You are the first person who really gets it. We have had several other evaluations and you really got to the root of the problem. You were able to describe exactly the problems we have at home and explain why they are happening. Now I understand. Finally.” – Mother of a 3rd grader

“Thank you so much for your assistance regarding [our son]. Finally reaching a proper diagnosis, I have no doubt that we will be able to make great strides with him.” – Father of a 5th grader

“As a mother who was at the end of her tether, I say from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU. I feel such a sense of relief having someone as brilliant as yourself help us figure all this ‘stuff’ out.” – Mother of a 15 year old

“I just thought I’d give you an update with what an amazing job you did with [our son] . . . not that he is out of the water, (there are triggers all around him constantly I am sure) but he is succeeding so far.” – Mother of a college student

“Thank you so much for all your work with [our daughter]. She is doing much better with each passing day. She has her nights, of course, but overall a marked improvement.” – Mother of child with sleep difficulties

“You have played the critical role of identifying her ADD, and she has really turned her grades, and most importantly, her self esteem around. She is an amazing young woman and has come so very far. Yes, we still have our struggles, but not anything like what we were experiencing when she was in the 8th grade. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so grateful for you!” – Parents of a college freshman

“I received your report last week just before we left town. I am writing to thank you for your help. The report was very well done. I feel fortunate that we have “found you.” Again, I so appreciate your expertise, personal interest and professional advice.”
